Sinigang na Bangus - A taste of comfort for cold days
Sinigang is a dish composed of vegetables, a choice of protein, and a souring component for the broth (ex. tamarind, santol, etc.). It is usually prepared during the cold "typhoon" months in the Philippines since sipping on some sour broth is always lovely during a cold day.
Bangus or Milkfish is a common fish in Southeast Asia specially in the Philippines. Thus, Sinigang na Bangus or "Milkfish in sour broth" is a common dish prepared by Filipinos.
